Find gaming friends
Find co-op partners, a competitive squad or someone to chat with. Meet people beyond your friends list. Public discovery is 18+ during this preview.
One place for games and hangouts
Browse session posts by game and category, rather than adding strangers to your friends list before you know what they want to do. Hosts can set the number of open spots and share the plan for their session.
Not every hangout needs a game. The chatting category is for people who want to meet someone and have a conversation.
A request, not an open door
- Find a session. Sign in, confirm public discovery eligibility and browse the current posts.
- Introduce yourself. Send a join request with a short introduction. That request is visible to you and the host, not everyone browsing.
- Connect after approval. The host chooses which requests to accept. Acceptance opens a direct conversation; a server-based session can also provide a private invitation.
Hosts control available spots and can close a session when the group is ready. Joining a session does not give strangers access to all of your private servers.
Keep it welcoming
The public Find a Group section currently requires self-confirmation that you are at least 18 and agree to the rules. It is not identity verification. Private conversations and existing server access are separate from this public section.
No harassment, hate, sexual content, scams or spam. You can block people and report session posts for review. Host approval does not guarantee someone's identity or safety; keep passwords, verification codes and sensitive personal information private.
Session posts and their linked requests and reports expire seven days after posting. Leaving a session does not automatically remove a server membership or an existing direct conversation. See our preview terms and privacy policy.
Bring the conversation with you
Once connected, use voice chat, text channels and screen sharing to stay together. Open MAD Connect in your browser or install the Windows app.
Create your account and explore Find a Group. Listings are inside the signed-in app; this public guide does not expose members' profiles or session posts to search engines.
